Ballerina sketch 5 by Gloria Poole of Missouri and Georgia

Ballerina sketch 5 is another attempt of mine to draw and paint the fluid movements and sheer /glittery fabrics of costumes of professional ballet. And of course, I sign the art I create when I consider it finished. It is acrylic paint on sketch book paper and is on my portable drawing board. I have posted ballerina and ballet as a group sketches to this blog before and also put some of the sketches I create in my online albums that public can view.

Michelango the world famous artist  from 16th century said if you draw something a hundred times you get good at it. That’s not Michelango’s exact words but that’s the gist of them. So I reason I have to draw and paint ballerinas 95 more times!
